Bernie quashes Austria rumours
Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has dismissed claims that the Austrian Grand Prix could return to the calendar after confirming that he is focused on adding Turkey to the schedule once more.
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has added a new slot for a Grand Prix to be held on July 21 and initially appeared to favour a return to Turkey, but later Red Bull alerted the organization that the Red Bull Ring in Austria had the potential to host a race.
While the Red Bull's proposal seemed a possibility when the Turkish government voiced its unwillingness to support a Grand Prix in Istanbul, Ecclestone quickly quashed the rumours saying that he had not been in touch with Red...
