Pérez set for first McLaren appearance

Sergio Pérez will make his first public appearance for McLaren on Wednesday. The Mexican, who has moved from Sauber on a 'multi-year' agreement, is en route to the outfit's factory in Woking to meet with engineers and undertake media activities. Pérez, a three-time podium finisher in 2012, was promptly signed by McLaren when Lewis Hamilton finalised a three-year deal with Mercedes. The 22-year-old from Guadalajara will race alongside 2009 World Champion Jenson Button this season. Pérez will also take part in a Google+ Hangout with fans this afternoon. The video conference, starting at 4.30pm, will be streamed live on the team's official page.
