Ferrari confirm launch date

Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will take the covers off Ferrari's 2013 challenger on Friday February 1 at their headquarters at Maranello. Team Principal Stefano Domenicali made the announcement at their annual Wrooom event at the Madonna di Campiglio resort in Northern Italy. The team are yet to reveal the name of their new car but the launch will take place a few days before the first pre-season test kicks off at Jerez in Spain on February 5. Ferrari finished second in the Constructors' Championship behind Red Bull while Alonso missed out on the Drivers' title by the narrowest of margins against Sebastian Vettel.
