Mercedes announce launch date

Mercedes will unveil their W04 and new driver Lewis Hamilton to the world on 4 February. The Brackley-based outfit enter this year's Championship with not only a new car but also a new driver having signed Hamilton from McLaren. The Brit. who has yet to make an official appearance as a Mercedes driver, will do so on 4 February when he attends the launch of the new W04 at the Jerez circuit. Mercedes will take the cover off their new car the day before pre-season testing kicks off at the Spanish circuit.
