Force India on verge of collapse amid Mallya's financial woes? 18 January, 2013 Vijay Mallya with Bernie Ecclestone
Amid the ongoing financial owes of Vijay Mallya, it is being reported that Force India is in serious crisis and it is possible the Silverstone based team could collapse, which has consequently prompted F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone to intervene in an effort to save the team ahead of the 2013 season. That is the claim of the Italiaracing magazine, who correctly reported some years ago that Pirelli would become the sport's new tyre supplier.
Italiaracing claims that, in recent days, Ecclestone has 'activated a plan to save the (Force India) team.'
