Glock poised to leave Marussia

Timo Glock's Marussia contract ran until the end of 2014 Sutton Images Enlarge Timo Glock has parted company with Marussia, according to a report in Germany. A report on Sport Bild claims that Glock and Marussia will announce the split on Monday, with the two parting by mutual consent. The report also quotes Glock - who has been with the team since it entered Formula One as Virgin Racing in 2010 - as saying he wants to look for "new challenges". "I have had three great years at the Marussia F1 team," Glock said. "We part on amicable terms. I want to find new challenges for myself and continue my journey in motorsport."
