Lost 10th cost me Marussia seat - Glock
Timo Glock has cited Marussia's failure to secure 10th place in the 2012 constructors' championship as the reason he had to leave the team. Marussia was 10th going in to the final race of the season thanks to Glock's 12th place in Singapore, but Vitaly Petrov finished 11th for Caterham in Brazil to snatch back the crucial place in the constructors' standings. Glock left Marussia by mutual consent last week, and he admits the lost prize money for its final championship position had a large bearing on his departure.
