Caterham promote Van der Garde to race seat for 2013

1 February, 2013 Giedo van der Garde to drive for Ctareham in 2013 Caterham F1 Team has confirmed that Giedo van der Garde, the team's 2012 reserve driver, has been promoted to a full-time race seat, completing the team's 2013 driver line-up alongside Charles Pic. Giedo's appointment to the F1 team is the natural step for the Dutch driver after he spent 2012 competing with Caterham Racing in the GP2 Series, combining his GP2 season, in which he scored six podiums and two race wins, with six FP1 outings for the F1 team.
