Toro Rosso unveils STR8
Toro Rosso has unveiled the STR8 at Jerez on the eve of the start of pre-season testing. Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne revealed the new car in the pit lane at the Circuito de Jerez following a filming day for Mercedes during which it too launched its new car - the W04. The new Toro Rosso employs a vanity panel over its stepped nose, while also employing a similar exhaust layout to last year's car. The STR8 is the first car to receive input from new technical director James Key, with Key having moved to the team in September 2012 after leading design on Sauber's C31 which scored four podiums last year.
