Sutil given Force India test outing

Adrian Sutil will return to Formula One this week for the first time since the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2011. Sutil will test for Force India in Barcelona on Thursday having had a seat fitting for the team last week. Sutil is in contention for the remaining Force India drive, with his main opposition appearing to be French racer Jules Bianchi, who tests on Friday. Sutil drove for the Silverstone based team throughout his five years in the sport, starting 90 races with a best finish of fourth in the Italian Grand Prix in 2009. He was dropped in favour of Nico Hulkenberg in 2012 before being convicted for causing grievous bodily harm in a Chinese nightclub.
