Perez fastest for McLaren on second day

Sergio Perez went quickest on the second day of testing in Barcelona for McLaren, posting a lap half a second quicker than the fastest lap from the 2012 test. His lap was also three tenths quicker than Sebastian Vettel's best - though Perez was completing a low-fuel run with soft tyres. Vettel focused on a race simulation in the afternoon, but stopped on circuit before being recovered to his garage by the team. His was only one of two red flags, the other caused by Max Chilton in the Marussia toward the end of the session. Lewis Hamilton completed the most running with 121 laps.
