Pérez describes 'extreme' tyre degradation

McLaren driver Serio Pérez has described an 'extreme' level of degradation with Pirelli's new tyre compounds, with the Mexican admitting that it has been difficult to learn a great deal about the handling of his new MP4-28 at the Circuit de Catalunya. Pérez, who set the pace on the second day of the gathering, suggested that the field will be forced to make an abnormal amount of pit-stops if conditions are similar to those experienced in Barcelona this week - with the cold weather increasing tyre wear.
