Chilton: Good to beat Caterham

Max Chilton was relishing a mini triumph over Caterham after edging Giedo van der Garde in Thursday's outing at Barcelona. Spending a third successive day in the car, the British rookie covered 57 laps with a best time of 1:25.690. But while his time put him 3.8s behind pace-setter Fernando Alonso, it did see him finish ahead of Caterham's van der Garde, who he beat by almost half a second. "It's been good to be able to pick up from where I left off," said Chilton, who lost track-time in the afternoon due to a planned suspension change.
