Hamilton 'prayed' for Sutil's F1 comeback

Lewis Hamilton says he prayed for Adrian Sutil during the latter's bid to secure a Formula 1 return. The pair had been close friends following a spell as team-mates in the Formula 3 Euro Series, but their relationship was put to the test in 2011 when Sutil went under trial for attacking Genii Capital's Eric Lux in a Shanghai nightclub. Sutil, who was charged with grievous bodily harm and handed an 18-month suspended sentence, labelled Hamilton 'a coward' for not standing as a witness after his view of the incident.
