Alonso: I'm more confident than last year
"true">Fernando Alonso feels more confident about his chances in the upcoming Formula 1 campaign than at this point last year, explaining that Ferrari faces a much smaller deficit to the front of the field as the final pre-season test draws to a close. On a rain-hit second day at the Circuit de Catalunya, Alonso admitted that it was a challenge to gather meaningful data, but from what he and the Italian outfit have seen so far the correlation between the wind tunnel and on-track performance is positive.
