Button: We're obviously not quick

Jenson Button fears points may be the best McLaren can hope for at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix. McLaren failed to shine in Friday's practice for the season-opening race in Melbourne and in fact also failed to make it into the top ten. Button's best was only good enough for 11th place, 2.3s off the pace, while Sergio Perez was 13th. The team's disappointing performance has already led to team boss Martin Whitmarsh revealing his concerns while Button reckons points and not podiums are on the cards.
