Race: Raikkonen Clinches Aussie GP Win

Kimi Raikkonen steadily worked his way to the front to beat Fernando Alonso to the first victory of the season in Australia. Starting seventh on the grid, the Lotus driver quickly made up places before taking the attack to Sebastian Vettel and the two Ferraris. As Vettel, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso all took the a turn at the front, Raikkonen made the most of quick laps and timeous pit stops to work his way into the lead with his two-stop strategy. The Finn crossed the line a comfortably ten seconds ahead of Alonso while Vettel dropped to third despite having led the early running.
