Fuel failure sidelines Hulkenberg from racing

Sauber driver Nico Hulkenberg did not start the season-opening Australian Grand Prix due to a fuel-system failure on his car. Sauber said via Twitter shortly before the race Sunday that: 'There is a problem with the fuel system. For safety reasons we will not start with his car.' Hulkenberg qualified 11th for the race -- his first with the team after crossing from Force India. The withdrawal left Mexican rookie Esteban Gutierrez as Sauber's sole driver in the race.
