Lewis: It should've been Nico
A reluctant Lewis Hamilton refused to overly celebrate his first podium finish for Mercedes after admitting that his team-mate Nico Rosberg should have finished in the position had it not been for team orders.On a day of high controversy at Sepang as the implementation of team tactics - and application or otherwise of them - dominated the post-race talking points, Hamilton benefitted from Mercedes' decision to hold station with their cars over the closing stint as the Briton had to save fuel.
Despite closing right up to the back of the sister Mercedes, Rosberg was barred from overtaking by the Mercedes pitwall, as Team Principal Ross Brawn sought to preserve the strong three-four finish. F1...
