Claire Williams becomes deputy team boss
Claire Williams has been announced as the Deputy Team Principal of the Williams F1 Team with immediate effect, a role that will see her work directly alongside founder and father Frank. Having joined the team back in 2002, she initially held a media position before being appointed Director of Marketing three years ago. According to a statement issued by the Grove-based team on Wednesday morning, the newly created position was confirmed ahead of the 2013 season, but had been delayed after the death of Claire's mother, Lady Virginia.
