Whitmarsh impressed by 'team player' Perez

Things haven't exactly gone according to plan for Sergio Perez since his move to McLaren, but team principal Martin Whitmarsh is nevertheless impressed. As is the case at the start of every new F1 season, McLaren are expected to be there or thereabouts when it comes to challenging for victories, but that wasn't the case during the first two races. The team struggled during qualifying and also on race day and Perez, who swapped Sauber for Woking at the start of this season following Lewis Hamilton's departure to Mercedes, has only two points to his name after a P9 in Malaysia.
