Schumacher secures Mercedes role
Mercedes has announced that Michael Schumacher is to take on an ambassadorial role with the German manufacturer following his retirement from F1 at the end of last season.Having elected not to continue with his racing career away from F1, the seven-time champion will now work with Mercedes on development of its safety and comfort systems on its road-going models while he was also be involved in Mercedes' road safety projects.Schumacher will also become an ambassador for the Mercedes brand.
