Williams 'two seconds away' from target

Williams technical chief Mike Coughlan says the outfit is "two seconds away" from where it needs to be after Friday's opening pair of practice sessions for the Chinese Grand Prix, admitting that there is plenty of work to do in order to move up the grid. Coughlan, who joined the Grove-based team in 2011, says a throttle actuation issue left Valtteri Bottas resigned to the garage for most of the afternoon session, with the Finn ultimately ending the day in a lowly 16th place, just in front of team-mate Pastor Maldonado and 2.845 seconds behind Felipe Massa's pace-setting Ferrari.
