Gutierrez gets grid penalty

Esteban Gutierrez has been handed a five-place grid penalty in Bahrain after crashing into the back of Adrian Sutil at the turn 14 hairpin.The Sauber driver carried too much speed into the corner, locked up and smashed into the German's rear wing forcing both out of the race. The announcement from the race stewards said Gutierrez, "admitted he had misjudged his closing speed."
