F1 Bahrain 2013: Pirelli revises tyre choice

Pirelli has elected to revise the tyre choice it will offer teams for this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.Originally, Pirelli had announced plans to take the hard and soft compound tyres to the Sakhir circuit for the fourth round of the season, but has now revised its choice and will instead take the hard and medium compound instead.The decision to switch to the harder compounds comes with Pirelli expecting 'reasonably high' degradation in the Gulf State, with motorsport boss Paul Hembery saying he expected three stops to be the norm.“Bahrain was one of the very few circuits that was entirely new to us in competition last year, although we know it well from testing,” he said. “It's one...
