Webber targeted fifth on grid

Mark Webber said he targeted fifth on the grid for the Bahrain Grand Prix after his penalty so is disappointed to start seventh. A collision with Jean-Eric Vergne in the Chinese Grand Prix last weekend cost Webber a three-place grid penalty in Bahrain. Webber revealed that he was expecting to be second in qualifying in order to start the race in fifth, leaving him slightly disappointed with his final grid slot but happy to save a set of hard tyres. "It's not too bad; we saved a set of primes in Q1 so we're going to see how that will unfold tomorrow in the race for us," Webber said. "Whether it's an inspired call or not we'll find out.
