Pirelli announce changes to the hard compound tyre

Pirelli has announced that it will be changing its hard tyre compound to make it more durable, as well as announcing the tyre allocations for the next three races. The P Zero orange-banded hard tyre that will make its debut in Spain will be similar to the performance of the 2012 hard compound, being more durable. Pirelli's Motorsport Director Paul Hembery said that the move has come after evaluating the tyre performances from the first four rounds of the season. Discussing in a press release from the Italian firm he said 'After evaluating tyre performance over the balance of the first four races, we took the decision – in consultation with all of the teams – to change the hard compound...
