Schumacher gets Nordschleife drive in Mercedes F1 Car

Michael Schumacher will return at the wheel of a modern-day Formula 1 car, Mercedes has confirmed. The German will drive a Mercedes F1 car around the classic Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit next month. Mercedes has confirmed that the car used will be the 2011 W02 on the circuit which hosted the German Grand Prix between 1951 and 1976. In a statement from Mercedes they said the demo run would be a 'thank you' to Schumacher's fans for their support. 'Schumacher will post a demonstration lap on the Nurburgring’s legendary Nordschleife in a Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 W02 to say ‘thank you’ to his fans for their years of loyal support during his F1 career,' He will be driving the car on...
