Marko: Tyres distorting competition

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has once again voiced his unhappiness with the Pirelli tyres, saying it restricts their potential. This year's compounds have come in for plenty of criticism and both Red Bull drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber as well as a few other teams have expressed their frustration with the high degradation levels. Pirelli held a meeting earlier this month to discuss the complaints, but they opted to make just a tweak to the harder rubber. Marko, though, remains unhappy with the tyres as he feels the drivers are not able to go all out with their on-track battles.
