Telemetry link upgrade planned for Spain

The telemetry link issues that have plagued the start of the 2013 Formula 1 campaign are set to be rectified from next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, with new supplier Riedel Communications bringing modifications to the Circuit de Catalunya. During the first four Grands Prix of the season, drivers were forced to compete without cockpit warning lights and had to rely on race engineers to inform them of DRS usage under yellow flags, as the link between race control and the cars had failed.
