Vettel pips Alonso in second practice

Sebastian Vettel narrowly edged out Fernando Alonso to set the fastest time during second practice at Barcelona. Vettel's time of 1:22.808s was 0.017s quicker than Alonso as the drivers were able to undertake running on a dry track following a damp first practice session. Mark Webber was third, followed by Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. Lewis Hamilton recovered from an early spin at Turn 12 to set the sixth fastest time, with team-mate Nico Rosberg in seventh. Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta finished in the top 10, with the Force India drivers split by the impressive Jean-Eric Vergne.
