Perez concerned by tyre failures
iv> Sergio Perez says it is "a big concern" for all the drivers that Pirelli's tyres keep delaminating after another issue in practice for the Spanish Grand Prix. Paul di Resta's left rear tyre shed its tread during FP2 as the carcass stayed intact, but he was able to bring the car to a safe stop. While di Resta himself wouldn't talk about the issue, Pirelli's Paul Hembery confirmed it was some form of failure and - with Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa having similar trouble in Bahrain - Perez said he was worried one could cause a major accident.
