Hembery denies pressure from Bulls & Bernie
Paul Hembery has downplayed suggestions that Red Bull Racing and Bernie Ecclestone put pressure on Pirelli to change their tyres.
Although several teams - led by reigning World Champions Red Bull - had been critical of Pirelli's tyres since the very start of the season, it wasn't until Sunday's Spanish GP that the situation came to a head.
The tyres, which suffer from high degradation and have a small operating window, resulted in some drivers needing four stops in order to reach the chequered flag at the Barcelona circuit.
Deemed objectionable by almost everyone in the paddock, Pirelli announced earlier this week that they would change their tyres in time for the Canadian Grand Prix.
