Hamilton certain of progress with tyres

Lewis Hamilton is confident that the tyre degradation issues he has suffered so far this season will be greatly reduced in Monaco, with the Mercedes driver explaining that "a huge amount of work" has been undertaken at the team's factory in Brackley. Having dropped from second to 12th during the Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton was left bemused by the team's struggles and vowed to find a quick solution. After trawling through data with engineers, the Briton is confident of a significant improvement.
