Race - brilliant Rosberg wins amid Monaco drama

Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg claimed a superb lights-to-flag victory in a crash-strewn race in Monaco on Sunday that featured two safety cars and an extended red-flag period.Rosberg, whose father Keke won in the Principality 30 years ago, led the race from the start, with team mate Lewis Hamilton in close pursuit until Ferrari’s Felipe Massa crashed heavily at Ste Devote on lap 30, bringing out the safety car. Rosberg and Hamilton both took the opportunity to pit for fresh tyres, but whereas the German re-emerged still in the lead, the Brit dropped back to fourth behind the earlier-stopping Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.The front-running order remained the same until...
