Ferrari face FIA disciplinary inquiry

Despite running a 2011 car in their Pirelli test, Ferrari are facing a disciplinary inquiry from the FIA along with Mercedes. The two teams are in hot water after it emerged that both conducted private Pirelli tests earlier this season. While Ferrari run a 2011 car in the wake of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Mercedes were in action at the Circuit de Catalunya after the Spanish race. But, unlike Ferrari, Mercedes used this year's W04 with two first tier drivers alternating at the wheel on different days.
