Kobayashi prepared to offer fan refund

Kamui Kobayashi says he will refund those fans who pledged financial support to try and keep him on the F1 grid if he fails to secure a place on the grid next year.The Japanese racer found himself without a drive for the 2013 campaign after a lack of sponsorship saw him replaced by Sauber, with a support programme being set up to try and help him secure a role elsewhere.Despite raising more than £1.2 million, Kobayashi failed to secure an F1 race seat and has instead moved into sportscars having inked a deal to compete in a Ferrari 458 Italia for AF Corse in the World Endurance Championship.Writing in a message on his official website, Kobayashi admitted he was enjoying his season in...
