Red Bull confirm James Allison will not be joining them 6 June, 2013 James Allison Red Bull has denied the latest reports linking Lotus' departed technical director James Allison with the world champion team. While Allison was earlier linked with a move to Ferrari, Germany's Auto Motor und Sport reported rumours the Briton could actually go to Red Bull. 'Those speculating in the paddock believe that Adrian Newey will stop at the end of 2014,' correspondents Michael Schmidt and Bianca Leppert said. But Red Bull said on its official Twitter page on Wednesday: 'There are a few rumours circulating today, but we can confirm that James Allison is not joining Infiniti Red Bull Racing.'
