Vettel seeking improved one-lap pace

Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel says there is "room for improvement" after the opening pair of practice sessions for the Canadian Grand Prix, with the Red Bull driver searching for an overnight improvement in terms of one-lap pace. Having briefly set the standard in the afternoon session, Vettel slipped back to seventh as rivals made significant improvements on the Super Soft compound, the German ultimately finishing over four tenths of a second behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.
