Di Resta hit by electrical issue

Force India has confirmed that Paul di Resta's Friday practice was cut short by an electrical problem. Di Resta set the pace during the first session on Friday morning but had to return to the pits early in FP2 for the mechanics to check his car after struggling to improve on the super-soft tyres. Despite not getting to carry out a run on high fuel as a result, Force India's chief race engineer Jakob Andreasen said the team had not lost out on any data. "An electrical issue for Paul interrupted the afternoon and cost him the final half hour of running, but Adrian was able to get the long run data we needed," Andreasen said.
