Ricciardo confident after positive start

Daniel Ricciardo enjoyed a ‘good' start to his weekend in practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. Ricciardo was tenth fastest in the second of Friday's 90 minute sessions. 'We seemed to be where we should in the midfield and I was pleased with the way the car went straight out of the box, so that’s always good when you don’t have the feeling you are going to need to create a whole new race car to be on the pace,' he said. 'In the dry in the afternoon, after my first couple of runs on the prototype and the Prime, I felt we could get more out of the car, so we made a fairly big change which I think worked in our favour.
