The car is getting better, says Hamilton

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is adamant that his team is making continual progress in terms improving its car and managing tyre degradation as the season wears on, despite falling from second to third during the Canadian Grand Prix. Having started from the front row of the grid, Hamilton soon drifted away from race winner Sebastian Vettel, while a resurgent Fernando Alonso stole three points from his grasp courtesy of a bold move into the first corner with six laps remaining. "The car is getting better," Hamilton explained. "The guys are doing a fantastic job. We just need to keep pushing and close the gap to these guys [Vettel and Alonso]." Discussing his late battle...
