Canamasas test confirmed

Rumours that GP2 Series driver Sergio Canamasas was due to step into an F1 car have been confirmed by the Caterham organisation.The mercurial Spaniard, who races for the EQ8 Caterham Racing offshoot of the Caterham F1 operation, has been called up to conduct a straight-line aero test with the senior squad in France this Thursday [20 June], getting behind the wheel of an F1 car for the first time.“Taking part in the aero test with the F1 team is another step in my development and it's good to have the chance to help the team continue the progress they've made so far this year,” Canamasas confirmed, “I'm going to the factory at Leafield before the test for a seat-fit and to go through...
