Horner skeptical about Merc's defence
Christian Horner believes Mercedes should be slapped with more than just a monetary fine for testing a 2013 car earlier this season.
Mercedes and F1's tyre supplier Pirelli were in the dock on Thursday, forced to answer questions relating to their secret tyre test in the wake of the Spanish Grand Prix.
Mercedes spent three days running at the Circuit de Catalunya in a test that they say was "undertaken" by Pirelli.
The Brackley team also insisted they were given permission to use their W04 by FIA race director Charlie Whiting, who is the "go-to reference" in F1 and had acted in "good faith."
Horner, though, was skeptical about the team's reasoning.
