McNish: Di Resta knocking on podium door

Ex-Formula 1 driver and three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Allan McNish predicts that fellow Scot Paul di Resta will be "knocking on the door" of a podium finish at this weekend's British Grand Prix, the latter having featured highly in Friday practice. Di Resta, who has scored points in six of this season's seven races, is yet to achieve a rostrum result during his Formula 1 career, but McNish reckons Force India's initial long-run pace at Silverstone could provide him with a strong opportunity to do so.
