Hamilton struggles with ill-handling car

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has admitted that his car "felt a little off balance" during Friday afternoon's second free practice session for the German Grand Prix. The Briton, who topped morning practice, fell back to eighth in the afternoon, ending the day almost a second adrift of pace-setter Sebastian Vettel. However, he is hopeful of making progress overnight and being back on form for Saturday's final session.   "This morning went pretty well and the car felt good, but then we made some changes which didn't quite work out for us this afternoon," Hamilton commented.
