Problematic pit stops cost Williams duo points

Williams celebrated their 600th Grand Prix start at this weekends German Grand Prix but the race didn't quite go to plan. Points continue to elude the Grove based squad after Maldonado and Bottas finished in 15th and 16th in today's race. Pastor Maldonado admitted that pit stop problems meant that he dropped down the order by the chequered flag. Speaking in a team statement he said: 'It was a good race for us today as we put everything together and we were on for some points. It’s disappointing to finish where we did today after the problem with the pit stops but we have to look at the positives and move forward from this.'
