New pit wall position for cameramen in pitlane

Television crews and cameramen must stand on the pit wall during future races after a cameraman was injured by a loose wheel that was traveling down the pitlane at the German Grand Prix last weekend. Paul Allen – an FOM cameraman employed by Bernie Ecclestone – was filming pit stops in the pit lane when Mark Webber's right-rear wheel left his car and hurtled down the pit lane, unfortunately hitting him on the side before bouncing into the air and coming to rest. Allen suffered a broken collarbone and two broken ribs but he is expected to make a full recovery.
