No fourth day for Silverstone young driver test, FIA confirms
Formula One racings governing body, the FIA, has confirmed that the upcoming young driver test at Silverstone will not be extended in to a fourth day and will instead remain a three-day session beginning July 17. Following the tyre failures in the 2013 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix, the FIA decided to make changes to the Silverstone test, permitting race drivers to take part, provided that their running is limited to testing Pirellis revised tyres. There had been discussions about extending the test to a fourth day to allow for extra tyre running, but the FIA has decided to keep to the original dates.Pirelli will be providing teams with extra sets of their revised...
