F1 2013 – Bernie Ecclestone indicted for alleged bribery
F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has been indicted for an alleged bribery involving German banker Gerhard Gribkowsky of Bayern Landesbank which took place 8 years ago.Gribkowsy was jailed last year for 8 and a half years after being convicted of breach of trust, tax evasion and accepting an alleged bribe of £28million from Bernie Ecclestone relating to the sale of Formula 1.Ecclestone told the financial times 'I have just spoken to my lawyers and they have received an indictment. It's being translated into English. We are defending it properly. It will be an interesting case. It's a pity it's happened.' 'If someone wants to sue you, they can do it and you have to defend it.'
